  OH MAN! This place was delicious! Get there early if you want the goods. They ran out of ribs right after we ordered. I got the spicy chicken salad and the ribs. Everything was delicious and the service was amazing. Great little hole in the wall restaurant.

  Older reviews here aren't really relevant anymore since there has been a change of ownership, but we stopped by Matty's, and it was probably the best barbecue in town. The wings are pan-fried and then coated with homemade barbecue sauce. Garlic fries were hand-cut, baked then fried so it was not greasy and the texture was perfect. It comes with fry sauce, which was perfect in combination with those fries. Heard they had good ribs, but I didn't try; however, hand-pulled pork sandwich was amazing.

  I had Ribs at Matty's while on vacation in Utah. I'm from Kentucky and I cook at small fairs and festivals and have ate LOTS of different styles of ribs. Have to say that Matty's ribs have been the BEST ribs I have ever eaten to date!!!! And the garlic fries were out of this world too!!
